Weyburn February 2011

On February 10, 2011, Discover Weyburn posted and interview with Kinsmen Foundation Chair and Weyburn resident, Jake Porter:

Kinsmen Telemiracle 35 is less than a month away.

Kinsmen Telemiracle Foundation Chair Jake Porter says the work just begins there.

" What the foundation does is after Telemiricle raises the money, the foundation itself is in charge of allocating that money and allocating funds to the residents of Saskatchewan to make sure that their needs are met, if they're ever having some trouble getting some medical equipment that they may need and Telemiricle is able to help them out, that is what the foundation does."

Last year's Telemiracle raised over $4 million  for Saskatchewan families who require special needs and medical equipment.

On February 16, 2011, they posted an Interview with Dawn Lee, Telemiracle 35 Chair:

There are countless people who make the Kinsmen Foundation's Telemiracle possible.

You may see many of them on camera, but there's a lot of people who help out off camera.

Committee Chair Dawn Lee said.

" There is a bunch of people getting the facility ready and set up for the production of the show, and then we also have people that register all those volunteers when they get to Telemiacle so that they know where they need to work and what their jobs are. We also have volunteers that need to get people on stage and get them prepared and ready for that, as well as on air presentations for all that money that comes in everywhere across Saskatchewan."

Dawn Lee noted there's also a group of volunteers who provide food for the volunteers at Telemiracle.

Telemiracle is on March 5th and 6th in Saskatoon.
