When: Friday and Saturday

Where: Market Mall (across from Safeway)

What: Local father-son band Ryan and Brian is doing its part for Telemiracle this weekend.

The duo will raise money for the telethon Friday from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday from 10: 30 a.m. to noon at Market Mall. With a focus on music for everyone, the pair has been performing acoustically for two years. Ryan Kendall, the teenage son to Riff Raff member Brian Kendall, was born with Prader-Willi syndrome, a rare genetic disorder that results in physical and mental challenges. The group hopes to be an inspiration to other people with special needs. Ryan performed on Telemiracle in 2008 and collected a $1,900 donation by busking.
