Community Events

There are always communities conducting fundraisers for Telemiracle, and we want to know about them!  If you are holding a fundraiser in your community, please let us know so we can get the word out!  Call the Telemiracle office at 306-244-6400, ext. 2, or send us an e-mail.

Humboldt and District Kinettes Telemiracle Fundraisers
February 5 -  There will be a Skate-A-Thon Skate With the Broncos from 2 - 4 p.m. at the Elger Peterson Arena (Humboldt Uniplex).  The event is open to school-aged children and they are encouraged to collect pledges or direct donations.  Come out for an afternoon of fun and skating with our local hockey team!  The child with the most money collected will win a prize.

February 26 - Diva Kinnection will be held from 1 - 4 p.m. The theme this year is "Organize and Rejuvenate Your Life."  An afternoon of speakers and exhibits will be presented related to the theme.  Tickets are $20. Contact Lois at 306-682-5380 for more information.

Swift Current Kinsmen Telemiracle Fundraisers
February 11 - Pass the Bucket Night at the Swift Current Broncos hockey game.  Along with the buckets being passed, there will be a silent auction for a signed Bronco jersey.  At the end of the 2nd period there will be an on-ice game between Telemiracle Teddy and the Broncos' mascot.  Come on out for a night of great hockey and help raise money for a great cause!

March 2 - There will be a Pub Crawl for Telemiracle on Friday, March 2, 2012, in Regina.  Bus transportation to three stops and a shot at each stop will be provided.  Tickets are $20 until February 1, and $25 after that date.  For tickets, check out http://www.picatic.com/ticket/telemiracle36pubcrawl/, and for more information visit their Facebook page at http://www.facebook.com/events/250590391656295/.

11th Annual Demaine Telemiracle Jam Session and Auction
The town of Demaine is once again hosting its Telemiracle Jam Session and Auction on February 25, 2012 at the Demaine Town Hall.  Doors open at 5 p.m. for cocktails; supper will be served from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.; and the auction will begin at 8:00 p.m.  Tickets are $10 a piece and are available at the door.  A midnight lunch is included.

Norquay 11th Annual Deep Fried Turkey and Memorial Supper
The Norquay Kin Club is hosting their 11th Annual Deep Fried Turkey and Memorial Supper on February 25, 2012.  It will be at the Norquay Communiplex, with supper starting at 5:00 p.m.  Tickets are $15 per person.  Live and silent auctions will be going on throughout the evening.  Proceeds will go toward Telemiracle 36.  If you have any questions or would like to donate an item towards the live or silent auction, please call Chelsea at 306-594-2228, Reagan at 306-594-2293, Maggie at 306-594-2388, or Angie at 306-594-2905.  

Curlie Cues for a Cause
Summer-Dawn Bahadoor is creating cute little works of art, with proceeds going towards Telemiracle 36.  Products are always changing, so check their Facebook page often.  Special orders are available.  For more information, take a look at their Facebook page at www.facebook.com/Curlie.Cues.for.a.Cause. 

Marvel School Telemiracle Fundraiser
On February 25, 2012, Marvel School of Hairstyling and Esthetics in Saskatoon will be holding a fundraising day for Telemiracle.  They will be doing $5 haircuts, $5 hairstyles, $5 braids, $5 manicures, and $5 pedicures.  For more information you can call the school at 244-5753 .  Come out and support a great cause!

Kelsi Paul - Telemiracle Fundraisers
February 18, 2012 - Kelsi is hosting a steak night at The House & Eatery, 3730 Diefenbaker Drive, in Saskatoon.  Cocktails start at 6 p.m., with the meal beginning at 7 p.m.  Tickets are $20 per person, and there is a choice of steak, chicken, or veggie stir fry.  For tickets or more information, call Kelsi Paul at 306-491-0042, or email her at kelsipaul@hotmail.com.
