At Christmas, set up a tree in which people can pay a set fee to put a decoration on in memory or in honor of anyone they choose. Set a deadline for the decoration to be purchased and make it into a community event and have a tree lighting party. Don’t forget to have carolers and you can even sell hot drinks and Christmas treats.
